In a world filled with distractions and temptations, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But there's something crucial that Satan doesn't want anyone to realize – THE NECESSITY OF AN ENTIRE SURRENDER TO GOD. Take note of what Ellen White says,
"Satan does NOT WANT ANYONE TO SEE THE NECESSITY OF AN ENTIRE SURRENDER TO GOD. When the soul fails to make this surrender, sin is not forsaken; the appetites and passions are striving for the mastery; temptations confuse the conscience, so that true conversion does not take place." 6T 92
Satan is fine with us being active in church, doing missionary work, serving others and joining in church programs as long as we don't fully surrender our lives to God. Satan is whispering in our ears, "just don't surrender all to God. Keep a part of yourself." But remember this, "A partial surrender to truth gives Satan free opportunity to work. Until the soul-temple is fully surrendered to God, it is the stronghold of the enemy." RH 11-28-1899
“If one sin is cherished in the soul, or one wrong practice retained in the life, the whole being is contaminated. The man becomes an instrument of unrighteousness.” DA 313
But there's hope. Through complete surrender to God, we find freedom from the grip of sin. It's a journey of letting go of our own desires and submitting to the will of our Creator. When we fully
surrender, we find strength, peace, and true transformation.
So, let's not be deceived by the lies of the enemy. Let's recognize the importance of surrendering every part of our lives to God. Only then can we break free from the chains of sin and become
instruments of righteousness.
