As the Holy Spirit Is Convicting Us, Let Us Cooperate by Confession, Humiliation, Repentance, and Earnest Prayer “Our heavenly Father is more willing to give His Holy Spirit to them that ask Him, than are earthly parents to give good gifts to their children. But it is our work, by confession, humiliation, repentance, and earnest prayer, to fulfill the conditions upon which God has promised to grant us His blessing.

It is important to note that Jesus, although taking on our fallen human nature, has a tendency to be tempted to yield to selfish anger. But because He is constantly connected to His Father, He overcame daily and He did not have an "anger issue. The Desire of Ages says, “Jesus did not contend for His rights. Often His work was made unnecessarily severe because He was willing and uncomplaining. Yet He did not fail nor become discouraged.
