Today, I have an important decision to make. It's about who I choose to follow and serve. In the Bible, Joshua said, “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15
There are two groups of people in the world. One group follows Jesus, who died for us and rose again. The other group chooses to ignore Jesus and follow the bad things Satan wants them to do.
Satan will not only try to make bad things look good but He will make it so attractive, so some people choose to do wrong without realizing it while others really enjoy it.
As Ellen White describes, “Many choose unrighteousness because Satan presents it in such a way that it seems attractive to those who are not on guard against his wiles.” OHC 15
He even uses people who say they follow God to trick others. But if we really love God, we'll stay close to Him and trust Him to help us do what's right. And through His Holy Spirit’s empowerment, we can run away from doing bad things.
In every decision we make, small or big, we need to pause for a moment to pray to ask for the Holy Spirit’s help. We all need to pause and reflect and think carefully and decide whose team we're on.

Satan will deceive us. He will try to trick us in many ways, but God's angels are ready to help us if we let them. So, every day, I have to show by my actions if I'm following Jesus or doing what Satan wants. As Ellen White says, “It is ours to choose whether we will be numbered with the servants of Christ or the servants of Satan. Every day we show by our conduct whose service we have chosen.” OHC 15
